Mineral Point Overlook, Colorado
Located just west of Engineer Pass at an elevation of 12,934', this is one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Colorado. The area to the south, looking towards Silverton, was my patrol area when I was BLM's Silverton ranger in 1984. You're looking at San Juan County, the highest county in the United States.
